‘Spotting the Value’ – our new report on disability and business
We’re pleased to launch ‘Spotting the Value: Conversations with disabled business leaders’ today to spotlight the importance of promoting more disabled people to senior roles in UK businesses.
Our research shows a gulf in the number of disabled people in senior roles compared with the number of non-disabled people. Not only does this negatively impact disabled people in income and career prospects, but it’s bad for business and bad for the economy.
We spoke to eight experts in business about this problem to understand more about why it exists and what possible solutions are out there, with a real focus on getting businesses to ‘spot the value’ disabled people posses when in senior roles.
We’d like to thank our experts for taking part and contributing to the report. We hope to move forward and engage further with businesses in particular to understand what changes they can make to resolve this problem.
