Access to Work report launch drop-in event

At the end of June, we hosted a drop-in event in Parliament to discuss the findings and recommendations from our latest report, Access to Work: Employment that Works, funded by Trust for London.

Delivered in partnership with Disability Rights UK, the Access to Work Collective and Inclusion London, the event brought together MPs, Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) and stakeholders to discuss the future of the Access to Work scheme and the reforms needed to ensure disabled people can access and remain in employment.

Throughout the afternoon, we welcomed MPs from across Parliament, including Disability Minister Sir Stephen Timms MP, who joined discussions on the challenges facing the current scheme and the opportunities for meaningful reform.

We would like to thank John Milne MP for hosting the event, as well as Steve Darling MP and Luke Akehurst MP for their support.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the constructive conversations throughout the afternoon. We look forward to continuing to work together help shape the future of Access to Work.
