Making the West Midlands an Exemplar Region for Disabled People: Part Two

We were delighted to host the second of our two events on ‘Making the West Midlands an Exemplar Region for Disabled People’.

Joined by Mayor Andy Street, we hosted an event that brought together Local Government Partners and Disability Activists to discuss next steps for ensuring the region is an exemplar region for Disabled people, and people with long-term health conditions.

Our event was chaired by Shani Dhanda, and our panellists were Louise Connop, Amy Francis-Smith, Sarah Rennie and Alice Hargreaves. We discussed how improvements can be made in Community and Housing, Transport, Skills and Employment, and Health and Wellbeing.

Thank you to the National Centre for Accessible Transport for hosting us.
