Welcoming Dr Cara Molyneux to the Disability Policy Centre Team

We are delighted to welcome Dr Cara Molyneux to our team as our Senior Policy Fellow, focusing on Employment and Welfare Reform.

Cara achieved a first-class BA Hons in Disability Studies (Inclusive Practice) in 2016. She then obtained funding from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) to continue her research at Lancaster University.

Cara's research interests and expertise lie at the intersection of social policy, disability studies, social welfare and labour market relations, and employment practice in small and medium size enterprises (SMEs).

She is a qualified Sighted Guide for visually impaired adults, has volunteered with the Guide Dogs to support independence, and has extensive experience of caring for a disabled family member. In her free time, Cara loves walking her dogs in the beautiful Lancashire countryside.

We are thrilled to welcome Cara to our team.
