The Disability Policy Centre contributes to the Jo Cox Foundation’s ‘Civility Commission’

We were pleased to be interviewed for the Jo Cox Foundation’s ‘Civility Commission’ research.

The Jo Cox Civility Commission focuses on ending abuse and intimidation for elected representatives. It has identified a range of practical recommendations across central government, policing and social media.

“If action is not taken,” say the Foundation, “we risk seeing more politicians stepping down due to abuse and intimidation, fewer people putting themselves forward as candidates, and less diversity and representation in UK politics.”
