Sunderland becomes the first University to sign the Disability Impact Pledge

The University of Sunderland have become the first University to sign our ‘Disability Impact Pledge’.

Signed initially by five Local Councils, our Disability Impact supports organisations who want to break down barriers for disabled people, and people with long-term health conditions, across their institution.

In signing the pledge, we deliver up to three training sessions for your staff, and support you with writing a Personalised Action Plan for how you can improve accessibility. We then continue to support you on an ongoing basis, as you implement changes to improve accessibility in your organisation.

Sunderland University have become the first University to sign the Disability Impact Pledge, pledging to break down barriers for disabled students and staff across the University.
