Ensuring the West Midlands is an Exemplar Region for Disabled People

During the Summer of 2023, we were pleased to work with the West Midlands Combined Authority on ‘Ensuring the West Midlands an Exemplar Region for Disabled People’.

Hosted at both the Sense Building in Birmingham Selly Oak, and the National Centre for Accessible Transport, our two roundtable events brought together both local and national disability charities, Local Government partners, and community activists and campaigners, to discuss how to make the West Midlands an exemplar region for disabled people, and people with long-term health conditions.

We were delighted that our guest speaker at report launch was the Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street. We look forward to seeing the progress of this region going forward.
