Launching a new project on improving our welfare system

This past year, with the announcement of government cuts to the welfare, has been a difficult time for disabled people, unpaid carers and those with long-term health conditions.

We are disappointed in the lack of ambition from the government. Four years out from the next General Election - there was time to fix our broken welfare system, centering the voices of disabled people and unpaid carers at the heart of it.

We, however, are ambitious, and we believe that we can create a welfare system that is fit for the future. One that works for us all.

We are delighted to have received funding from Trust for London to undertake a new research project over the next year.

We will be listening to the voices of disabled people, those with long-term health conditions, and unpaid carers, about their views of our welfare system, and how we can work together to fix it.

This project is based in London, but if you are elsewhere in the UK, we will ensure that you have an opportunity to have your voice heard.

Please do register your interest, and we will keep you up to date in the coming months.

We look forward to working with you all to make a real difference.
