National Disability Action Plan Consultation

A photo of the Zoom call, with lots of people visible in their boxes on screen. Lots of women are smiling at the camera, and some have their cameras off.

On Wednesday 13th September, we held two roundtables with our partners Elect Her, Centenary Action and Disability Rights UK to discuss the Government’s National Disability Action Plan Consultation.

Joined by speakers Fazilet Hadi, Head of Policy for Disability Rights UK, and Sarabajaya Kumar, the Founder of The Disabled Women in Politics Network, we discussed specifically funding for Disabled Candidates, and the impact that reinstating it can have.

The feedback gathered fed into our response to the Government. You can view that joint response to the consultation here.
