The Disability Policy Centre at Naidex 2022
Naidex is the flagship event of the Disability Community. The Disability Policy Centre, alongside a panel of disability ambassadors, took to the main stage for a panel discussion ‘What does Disability truly mean in 2022?’. Panellists provided a thought provoking and capturing discussion around identity, perception, opportunity, stereotypes and breaking down disability barriers.
We also provided a seminar entitled ‘Breaking Down Barriers: The Importance of Representation’ for education and employment, highlighting the importance of effective consultation, representation, and disabled representation at the heart of decision making processes ensuring that as a society we are operating with the correct mechanisms for the 20% to reach their full potential.
