Intersectionality, Ableism and Racism: The VODG COVID-19 Call for Evidence

The Disability Policy Centre joined and the Voluntary Organisations Disability Group, with Chair Rebecca Ogbonna and panellists Dr Amo Raju, Kush Kanodia and Julie-Jaye Charles, to discuss disparities for Disabled people, particularly those from Black, Asian and minoritised ethnic groups, during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as long-standing inequalities and discrimination that have been exposed by the pandemic.

This was part of the engagement for the VODG’s ‘Commission on COVID-19, Ableism and Racism’. You can find out more about the Commission and its recommendations by clicking here.
