Today, The Disability Policy Centre sadly says goodbye to our Co-Founder Celia Hensman, who leaves The Disability Policy Centre - the organisation that she Co-Founded and launched with Chloe Schendel-Wilson, exactly sixteen months ago today.

Celia has been a driving force behind The Disability Policy Centre, and has truly put us on the map, engaging with the Disability Community, policy makers, businesses and charities. Her advocacy work and campaigning has shone a light on the issues that disabled people, and people with long-term health conditions face on a daily basis, and her research has drawn the attention to the solutions to break down these barriers across society.

Her absence will leave a huge impact on The Disability Policy Centre team, and we are going to miss her greatly. We know, however, that she is going to go and do amazing things, and we will be with her in spirit all along the way.
