Disabled Women in Politics Roundtable, with Elect Her and Centenary Action

In March 2023, alongside Elect Her and Centenary Action, we hosted a cross-party Parliamentary roundtable on ‘How can we break down the barriers to d/Deaf and Disabled Women’s involvement in politics?’

Chaired by Celia Hensman, our speakers included Marion Fellows MP, from the Scottish National Party, Conservative MP Chloe Smith, Christine Jardine MP, from the Liberal Democrats, Catrin Wager from Plaid Cymru, Mags Lewis, Green Party Disability Spokesperson, and Sarabajaya Kumar from Centenary Action.

A further write up by Centenary Action can be found here. You can find out more about the Disabled Women in Politics Network by clicking here.
