‘Be a Councillor’ Westminster Event, in Partnership with the Local Government Association

On 20th November 2023, as part of the ‘Be a Councillor’ campaign, we were delighted to hold an event in Westminster, in partnership with the Local Government Association.

Joined by four councillors from different political parties, audience members had the opportunity to learn from the experiences of disabled councillors, and councillors with long-term health conditions. The event was an opportunity for audience members to learn more and consider putting themselves forward for election themselves.
