Our research activities include roundtables, interviews, production of surveys and the analysis of existing data and Government policy. We seek to work collaboratively with organisations from across the public, private and third sectors which align with our organisational core values, as we unite in our aims, making an impact together.

MISSION AND OBJECTIVES

One in five people in the UK are disabled or have a long-term health condition. For too long their voices have been under-represented. Together, we can change this. by engaging, creating, delivering, and impacting. The Disability Policy Centre is committed to changing the world for the better, improving public services and reforming policy.

Our mission is to develop the policy solutions that break down barriers for disabled people, in every aspect of our society. We collaborate with others and lead the thinking to ensure that nobody is held back from achieving their potential. The Disability Policy Centre is a vehicle of empowerment, awareness, communication, and education, building the policy that makes a positive and effective difference to society.

We work hard to develop and implement the practical solutions that deliver real-world results, through our research, collaboration, production of policy and its implementation across the sectors, to release untapped potential and change the lives of disabled people and carers for good.
